Haiti, the Story of the Unknown Children
Some of these children do survive like a boy called Cielo but unlike him who made it, there are thousands like this girl who are still in servitude.

10% of the total Haiti children die because of malnutrition before age of 4.This in my book is not acceptable. So do these organizations and they are doing something about it, they are saving these kids.
Here is a list of just a few organizations:
W e don't know what their living arrangements are or what these kids even make but all we know is that we must help them because they are just kids who are in desperate need of a better and kinder world they are living in so please, help one of these kids today.

Why Children?
If we love these children so much, then why are there others who think it is OK to punish these children who have done nothing? Some people say that it is for the economy and some others say that it doesn't matter and that we should not get involved with this. I personally believe that there is no excuse for mistreating a child who has done nothing wrong and have been kidnapped from their family and friends and put into a hole which there is no escape.
There are those people who do not worry about these children and forget that these children are around and are trying to break free from which they are trapped like mice. They have no hope and no future. These people who are unaware of this problem are countries who do not wish to see these children hurt. When these people are ignoring the child slaves, they are saying that there is nothing wrong in this world and that we should not bother with helping others.
Then there are some people who have the courage to stand up for what they believe is right. They stand for the freedom of these children and other slaves in the world. They are people like Grace Hanley and Craig Kielburger who have decided to put matters in their own hands and do something about this. Craig is the founder of freethechildren.com, a non-profit organization who only belief is to save children.
I believe that as human beings, we must protect these children that there are on earth and end slavery once and for all. We have to make sure that these children never witness this type of evil ever again.

Bloody Old England
They believe that it is OK to have child slaves in their country and that no one will notice. Well guess what England, we have found out about your dirty deeds. This is simply bloody ugly. The world has been paying attention to the upcoming Olympics and the USA's presidential elections but that does not give you the right to turn your backs and treat your children like dirt. Why does it seem that every step that the world goes forward in technology, the stronger countries seem to fall ten steps back in human rights. As we look around the world at the poorest countries and the mistakes that they have made, we do not see the stronger and richer countries making the same mistakes. England , you have made some huge mistakes.
Why is it that you have to take children from other countries to do your dirty deeds? Is it because you are cowards or is it because you don't want your good image of being such a fantastic country to be ruined? When I looked up your statistics, it seems that I can't find any information about your child slaves that you use in sweet shops.

When children think of England, they think of the story of Peter Pan, who saves Wendy from growing up. To a lot of kids in England, I bet they are thinking that Peter pan will save them any minute. I guess they are wrong to believe that someone will save them from the chaotic life that they live. These children have no faith, trust ,or even a sprinkle of pixie dust to save them. All they have is their lives to be thankful for.

We must act in kindness instead of cruelty. One of the ways to do this is to help these children in these countries is by protesting the things that are made. Look at how Nestle was protested in the 1970's for the baby formula that they sent to Africa. This is an effective way to change the world around us. We must protest major corporations that use force labor so that they can be one top of the corporate ladder.
England,we are going to change you from bad to good. The ways that we are going to change you are going to be drastic but they are necessary. There needs to be changes or the country will fall

China, What is Your Problem?

China, the country that has been around for centuries, has decided to keep their ways. From traditions with their heritage to their feelings about Tibet. Now they have decided to do terrible things to their children, force them to be slaves. As a kid myself, I have seen horrible things in Africa but never like this. They are not only making kids who are poor work but, the children who are seeing the child slaves work. This is really revolting to me. Who knows, next they might want to target the children who came to see the Olympics in Beijing. This has got to stop now.

America,Land of the Free?
When we think of America, all we ever think about is how free we are and that we are an independent country. I am here to burst your bubble because America is not free to immigrants and others who are desperately poor. This is ridiculous. We are one of the strongest countries in this world and we can't even help our poor families out with money. Instead, we send our children to work in chili fields of New Mexico to the sweat shops in New York. Around the United States, 16 of our 50 states think that it is OK to let child slavery run its coarse through us like it did with the African Americans during the Civil War. This is very low for a country who is partially connected to technology and music. We should be ashamed of ourselves. We can't take a measily minute to look out our own front door and see that this world and our country is not perfect.
From presidential elections to the possible recession that are on our front door knocking to get in, we don't even see that we are falling into a time in the world that will destroy everything that we hold dear. The American public needs to see what their products are really made of. What goes into the things that we use every day? I can answer that question in two words, child slavery. When we are worrying about our own technology, people are starving and we can't even help them out
Imagine these poor children working in the fields for a chance at freedom. If they were still in Mexico or their home countries, they might have had a better life. These children need their freedom so will you help save one today by adopting a child who needs love and protection? An example of this is the story of Angel Oliveras(age 4) who works in chili fields that are taller than her in New Mexico. Another child like Angel is Vielesee Cassell( age 13) working in a sweat shop in Texas making dresses. In fact, there are 10 of thousands of children who are working as slaves in America right now. These are the kids that need all the help that they can get. You can go to websites like stopchildrenslavery.com and anti-slavery.org. Help these children, do not stand aside and let injustice like these go unpunished. Save them and together we might make America land of the free again.

What is Child Slavery?
Here is something to think really hard about:

These are the faces of the children who work hard to make clothing and buildings for the government and around the world . What we take for granted, these kids work hard to harvest or create. For example, have you ever thought about where chocolate comes from? Chocolate is harvested by children in the Ivory Coast and if the children refuse to work, their feet are cut with razor blades and they are whipped within an inch of their lives. The huge shocker about this is that companies like Hershey and Nestle buy this chocolate! They use the products that these innocent children harvest every day to make their fortune. A simple way to help the kids in the Ivory Coast is to use chocolate that is not a brand name because probably all the chocolate from a brand name is made with child slavery.
If you are a parent and have young children at home, just think, what do you do for your children? You don't sell them to slavery but you do pay them an allowance that they earn. You may not be poor but you do share the same bond with these parents, you would do anything to survive life. Unlike you, they do not get a second job, they decided to sell their children like they are material possessions. Iqbal Masih was just a normal kid until his father sold 4 year old Iqbal to a weaver for 12 dollars. 12 dollars! Iqbal worked there for 12 hours a day until he was 10 years old. At 10 , Iqbal decided to run away and tell people around the world to help end slavery. When he returned from his trip, he was riding his bike with his friends in Pakistan and was shot. Iqbal was only 12 years old.
How can we stop this stuff from happening to innocent children around the world? In this blog, I will explain how you can help kids like Iqbal all over the world. Here is a little help: when Iqbal was in America, Craig Kielburger heard about his story and decided to help out. He created an organization that helps these kids out. Today, he has been all over the world promoting to save the children. His website is : http://www.freethechildren.org/
This is just one of the many organizations that save these innocent children from slavery. Do your part today and help a child in a foreign country get out of the situation that they are at today.
